BLACK HISTORY IS NOW
Spotify’s Black History Is Now campaign focuses on Phenomenal Black Music – a celebration of the songs and Black women that shaped how music is created, experienced and shared around the world.
Black History Is Now featured a capsule collection of merchandise designed by Joe Fresh and Jamilla Okubo, a national OOH campaign, artist-curated playlists and an immersive pop-up experience in New York City. Event programming included live music performances by 6lack and Masego, panel discussions with cultural influencers, public school tours and community organization.
As Executive Producer, I collaborated with stakeholders and cross-functional teams at Spotify to oversee the project’s work streams from concept to execution.
